Lewisham Hospital Birth Centre recent experiences - how was it for you?!

Hi all,
Our first child is due in February and gathering info to help us make a decision about whether to opt for the birth centre at Lewisham or not.
We’ve had a tour at one of the pregnancy evenings and we’re impressed with the facilities, and midwives we met too. However lots of online reviews are dated, so it would be great to hear from anyone who has given birth there in 2017/2018. We were particularly interested by the fact that they said if you book the birth centre, you generally get in as it isn’t oversubscribed as a service, and by the assertion that they don’t rush you out once the baby has arrived - both of which we assumed not to be the case!
Hope to hear from anyone who can help Smile
Thank you!

Hi all, need some advice please! I live in South East london and will be a first time Mum in August. I have 2 hospitals nearby, Lewisham Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth hospital (woolwich). Does anyone have any experiences of giving birth in any of these hospitals and would you recommend them? The 1st scan i had at the QE was good but the 2nd was disappointing and the midwife was rude and showed no interest at all. Please help!
