Hi,

I know many people won't as the baby is without doubt the most amazing present ever...but i wanted to get my partner a present for when little one arrives to thank him for all he has done for us both. I dont want to spend a fortune, something like a mug etc. Has anyone got any good ideas?

I'm due very soon and would love to get a thoughtful and unique present.

Thanks so much xx

I’m not a fan of push presents for either partner but if he’s going to give you something (or already has), then you could return the favour with an item of equal value. Don’t bother if you don’t get a gift!

I didn't get DH anything. He got the best present I could ever give him! It took me 9 months to make and already cost me a fortune!!! Having said that I have bought him a couple of bits for his Christmas stocking like a daddy mug. Something like that is nice and thoughtful. It's not expensive and is not something he would buy himself. Just a gesture.

@AshBluex I'm getting my husband some new lounge wear and a fancy advent calendar (based on his hobby) from our newborn... I think it's a lovely idea!
