Can you recommend a good birthing website for my mum?

Due to give birth on monday (though first baby so could be another couple of weeks) and my mum is coming up for the labour, but obviously her experiences were 25 years ago so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good website that covers things like active birth, water birth, natural methods, minimum intervention sort of thing that she can check out over the next couple of days?

Thanks!

what about Birthing Naturally

or Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering

They're not UK based but very informative about normal birth!

there are some good birth videos on youtube, if you search ..seen some lovely water births and natural active births on there

what role is she having, is she going to just be there, or be a birth support....if so , she needs to know your birth plan, your hopes and fears, and how she can support you to make it happen,

Ahhh, sorry no advice but my mum was at my dd's birth and it was absolutely fab. I'm sure she'll do all the right things by instinct, nothing changes that much

DH is going to be there too, but I just have a feeling that I would like my mum around, esp if the midwives are busy or disappear!

With her first two labours she never even went to antenatal classes! And she didin't really have a clue what was going on. I was explaining to her the other day about how bad it is to labour on your back, and how and why I want minimal intervention, I just wanted a bit of reading for her to understand why I have made these decisions. I have Active birth by Janey Balaskas but DH is reading it at the moment and it's too late for her to get any books realy so just wanted a good website which went along with those sort of philosophies.

I like the birthing naturally one, I will link her to those two klaw. Thanks!
