Hi there, my sister in law has lent me her Lady Tens, I thought there were only two types - elle tens and femme tens. I think this is a more basic model and I just wondered if anyone out there has used this one and whether the pain relief it provides would be as good as the other two slightly more sophisticated models. Any comments greatly appreciated as I'm unsure whether to sick with this one or not. Thanks.

link to the different types for more detailed response.

in essence, if you want to use a tens machine in labour, it needs to have a 'boost' button you can press when a contraction starts, then press again when it eases. so that the signal is on high when needed and on low in between. some tens machines are designed for general back pain and do not have this. any machine that does, is suitable for labour.
