Bleeding after childbirth

I am almost 3 weeks postpartum and my bleeding stopped 4-5 days ago. Today I have had red bleeding for the last couple of hours. Is this normal?

I’m in exactly the same position, i think it can mean you’ve just overdone it a bit. I seem to remember it happening until around 6 weeks last time.

A couple of times I thought I’d stopped bleeding but then it would start again- went on for about 6weeks, felt like forever

I think that's normal. I bled for three weeks, it stopped and then I bled for another 2 days.

Yeah mine was very stop start for weeks but eventually went away
