Light red blood (a bit watery) after c section

I had my c section on Wednesday, so still early days. I had the usual dark red blood and clots on day one, from then onwards the blood has been a light red/brown in consistency, maybe slightly orange? and a bit watery. It’s much worse after I’ve done a feed with DS and this morning after a shower. Does it sound like anything to worry about? It’s a lot lighter than my usual periods, no clots etc. But it’s just the unusual consistency. No smell.

I bled for at least 6 weeks and it varied hugely in colour/consistency. It's totally normal to be bleeding at this point and it to be different to normal period.

Its totally normal @CathyandHeathcliff I'm home with my dressing off and still bleeding quite heavily. All the norm tho my varies from red to browny normal though. Like the @Waitingonasmiley42 said you'll bleed for up to 6 weeks afterwards. Good luck hun x

Congratulations @CathyandHeathcliff . I saw you had loads and loads of posts before C section which have asked lots of helpful questions.

Can you give an update as to how it went for others still waiting like myself?

Lochia. Totally normal.

@homemadegin it went really well thank you. It was scary, but wasn’t as awful as I thought. I did feel really spaced out on the table. Recovery isn’t horrendous either and my partner was allowed to stay overnight in hospital with me.
