C section pain

Hi,

It's been 6 days now since I had an emergency c section, pain from the wound is all starting to fade and I'm generally starting to feel a lot more human. I have however started taking a burning/searing pain just above the wound and have read that it's more than likely muscle pain from them being cramped back during the surgery. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has any tips on how to help ease it/ cope with it?

Hi I had that and shooting pains near my hips. It's everything going back to how it use to be, during surgery they have to be rough with your muscles so they can be achey afterwards for a while.
Keep on top of painkillers and take it easy, try to stand straight when upright too.
Of course if in any doubt just get checked out, I had to a few times.
Hope you feel better soon.

After reading everyone's comments online I'm pretty sure it is just the muscle pain. It felt as though someone had put a hot iron to my skin, at the time I just thought this cannot be normal! Thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind. Even though taking it easy is near impossible!
