Hi everyone. When you have music you want played how do you play it ? Is it via bluetooth or cd or? Me and hubby have 2 songs we want playing by neil diamond and unsure how it will be played in theatre. Thanks x

We just got a choice of radio station before they started

But to be honest, we couldn't really hear anything above the general conversations, plus the anaesthetist asking various questions

I don't think you'd be able to time the music to be playing when the baby appears though. There are too many variables, like how quickly the spinal takes effect etc

We have a neil diamond cd so all is good will take that. Have pre-op tomorrow so will ask then x

We took a (small) blue tooth speaker. There was a lot of noise and chatter but it was really calming to hear snippets of my playlist during the quiet moments and to force myself to listen to keep calm.

We don’t have any CDs, just music on our phones. I’m going to ask for the radio as it’s familiar and comforting to me.

Theatres will usually have a radio but not necessarily CD player/iPod/phone dock. I'd suggest taking your own kit including portable speakers if this is really important to you.

Had my pre-op today - was told can have music can use a CD player but also to download the songs to your phone so you can play them on loud or with headphones just to double check it with the surgeon on the day as everyone is different so thats that then lol xx
