Size "tiny baby" clothes

Those who have had babies who had to wear "tiny baby" clothes, how much did your babies weigh and when did they move into size newborn? Also did the wear size 0 nappies?

Being induced at 37 weeks and baby was estimated at 4lbs8oz at 35 weeks. Unsure if size 1 nappies and newborn nappies will be ok.

Dd was 6lb 12 oz and was ok in Tesco and primark tiny baby, boots mini club tiny baby was on the big size but obviously she did grow into it. Size 1 nappies we're fine but I didn't actually compare them to a zero so they might have been better around her little legs (they looked like twigs!)

I unpicked the toes of tiny baby babygros for my long scrawny baby. Newborn swamped her and she just disappeared into them! Probably also hence leaky size 1 nappies...

She is now just over 50th centile for weight, probably higher for height and DH put her in 18-24 jeans today (just turned 3) and they are perfect in every way except they are well above the ankle.

DS2 was 5lb 7oz (6lb at birth) and 46cm when we left the hospital and was in preemie clothes for the first month or 6 weeks I recall.

DS1 was 6lb 5oz and 46cm at birth but I didn't think about preemie clothes then and he was in newborn for about 3 months.

Ds was two weeks late and 6lbs13oz and in tiny baby stuff for about a month.

My DD was 36weeks and 5lb5. Think we got tiny baby clothes from m and s and sainsburys? They swamped her in the arms but the m and s fit quite slim in the body. She was also in size 0 nappies from Asda for a little while ( afraid I can’t remember how long as that time is a blur). Good luck op x

DD at 37 weeks weighed 5lb 5oz and the newborn stuff swamped her - tiny baby and size 0 nappies for a month before she could go into newborn. She's 6 months now and has been wearing 3-6 months clothes for just the last 2 weeks however weight wise she's 70th percentile. Think she just has a very small build as she has a bit of Chinese in her.

DS was 6lb 6 and tiny baby were just a little snug, but small baby a little roomy. He was in newborn nappies.
