Hi I'm 33+4 so not long left, hopefully🤞🏻 this will be my second ds and I'm starting to worry about the labour not so much as I did the first time round as I would have happily kept him in due to fear whereas this one I can't wait to pop out! I was 17 first time round and honestly looking back I was just a scared little girl I just did everything the midwives said didn't question anything etc. This time round I know I don't want a sweep as that resulted in nothing and was extremely painful. I feel this time round I'm more prepared however this is also a pain as I look into literally everything and panic over the slightest thing whereas when I was 17 I just went with the flow. Was your second labour easier would you say?

The positives (for me)
My second labour was 9 hours start to finish whereas my 1st was 30, I had a 3rd degree tear with my 1st and 1st degree with my 2nd. Post natal I felt mentally great but with my first I had awful baby blues!

Negatives
Contractions where a lot more close together therefore a LOT more intense! I found it more painful even though baby number 2 was smaller.

Guilt for the first child!

Bobby seemed to take a lot more time to recover.

Tried to be honest as possible. Hope this helps!

I also found it so much more nerve wracking the second time because I knew what was coming, but honestly it’s a waist of time as both births were completely different experiences
