morning girls

for past 24 hours i have had dull dragging period pains in my lower tummy under bump, im 36 weeks, they come in waves been timing them and they vary from 8-13 mins, rang hospital they said if waters go or get to every 7 mins go down as could be signs of early labour? did any of yours start like this? this is my first so i thought it would be agonising pain staright away, its not braxton hicks as i know how they feel,

they said u can get these pains up to a week before going into active labour?

thanks

I had early labour pains (all around bump and down back, rather than just under) for several days - ds finally arrived 6 days later (sorry if this isn't what you want to hear!). They were regular-ish at home - every 5-6 mins - but I found that every time I went to hospital (several times to be checked out!) the car journey slowed them down. Even on the last day I went in, they said I was 8cm dilated by then but contractions were still only every 8 mins... Hope this is it and you get there faster than me! Good luck.
