Hi, anybody can give me any advice ?? I have 2 children, 3 and 4 years old. We live in Italy where my 4 year old was born c section in our useless, crap hosital. There was no medical reason for it ( as later discovered) just surgeon got paid for every op. Louis was born in liverpool. I was diagnosed at 22 weeks with PP Grade 4 and after numerous bleeds had emergency c section after placental abrutpion at 31 weeks. Thing is i would love another baby but DH is worried about PP happening again. Anybody know the chances, where I can get advice etc. I don't trust my docs here !!
thanks
Michelle

The risk of pp recurring is 2.4%. With a 30% chance of it being complete (Grade 4). Any less than Grade 4 means you need a cs but prob won't haemorrhage or have the baby early. So that is 0.72% or 7 in a 1000 chance.

That is the good news. However I am 7wks pg with my 3rd child (2 previous cs, last one was a Grade 4 pp). And the baby is implanted right next to my cervix - which doesn't look good to me. But we'll see!
