am going in hospital on monday morning to be induced! they said if faverable i will get sweeep or waters broken, dont know which yet as i have to be examined then told if neither work i will be having c section, i dont really understand if they can induce me as when i was exmamined last week i was not ready, but now with my problems they want to get me started, but if my babys so high up and not faverable how can they induce me?

inducing you should help push baby further down! I had an unsuccessfull sweep hoping yours works cause its not pleasant, doesnt hurt just a bit undignified

a lot can change in a week towards the end of pregnancy! the cervix ripens over time, so can be totally different one week to the next. also the contractions can move the baby down...so don;t worry !

I was 5days over had mw come out to me sunday to do sweep she said there was not ripe enough, an i had to wait had spottin from where she messed with me then th following day was havin pains went in too be checked had another sweep proper one was 2.5cm dilated, went home then couple hours later went back in full blown labour had dd early hours tues(last yr she was one weds gone!) Good luck
