I am 37 weeks with #3 and yesterday I was exhausted all day, got cramps that felt like period pains all the way around front to back which got stronger and stronger, very loose bowels, felt nauseous, no appetite, my right boob felt swollen and sore (it woke me the prevoois night as so uncomfortable) and i had egg white discharge...but after about 2- 3 hours of all this late afternoon it all stopped and today i have had nothing! Has anyone else experienced something like this? Should i still expect to wait a few more weeks before an appearance?

It's hard to say but sounds like your body could be gearing up. I'd say the main things to look out for with regards to the pains is that they come in very definite waves as well as getting stronger. Generally, if you have a bath and some paracetamol and they go away, it's not labour.

Hard to say how long it will be but it does sound like your body is preparing itself :)

Just realised this is #3 and you definitely know what to look for with labour pains haha! If you think they were definitely contractions maybe call the midwife as I've known a few people have stop/start labours!

Hi, thanks for the reply :) yes it is my 3rd but my 1st was induced soni didn't get any build up at all. Was so sure it was the start of something but that was Saturday and now we are Tuesday and I have had nothing more than feeling like my period is about to start. Feeling rather queasy again today and tired but certainly nothing to make me think I might be holding my baby soon! Was curious to know if others had experienced similar... thanks again for the reply x
