Midwife led care for VBAC?

Hi, my first labour ended in an emergency c section. If I go for a VBAC next time, will me pregnancy care automatically me consultant led instead of midwife led? I presume I'd have to be on the labour ward too instead of
Birthing centre?

Thanks

Usually you would see a consultant at some point in the pregnancy (probably twice) to discuss birth options but would still have the vast majority of your care with your community midwife at the GP surgery or antenatal clinic.

Because of the (very small) risk of uterine rupture, it is usually recommended that ladies who have VBACs are cared for on the delivery suite and have continuous (CTG) monitoring. However, you can absolutely decline this and no one can make you do anything you don’t want to!
