Registering to two GP's - Dilemma

Hello, I need some advice.

I currently reside in Lancashire (after marriage), however i kept my doctors in Yorkshire as i work in Yorkshire so it was convenient if i ever need to go to the doctors (hardly ever) using my parents address (where i lived before marriage).

When i found out i was pregnant, because i had such a long difficult drive to work, my husband told me to stay at my parents during the week and come home on weekends. So my ante natal has been in Yorkshire (it was also convenient when i had to go to work too).

So my maternity is starting next week and I thought i might as well go back and stay with my husband in Lancashire and give birth there since my husband will be my birth partner and our first child can be born where he was and my parents are going away anyway.

However, i would like to stay at my parents after the birth for any help.

I am explained my situation to my current midwives who have said they will be happy to carry on my post natal care considering i will be in Yorkshire and after the birth, the midwives ask you where you are going to stay and all i have to do is tell them i am staying with my parents.

So how can i register at a GPs in Lancashire but keep my GP in Yorkshire? I literally just need ante natal care for about 5 weeks until the birth as we are in a process of moving house anyway.

Thanks

Can you register as a temporary resident?
