Last night had diarrhoea and occasional (not regular) period like pains. Also loads of Braxton Hicks. Went to bed, nothing overnight, but has started again this morning.

Did anyone else start like this?

I'm 39+5.

Yep could definitely be signs of it approaching. I'd get out a nice long walk if you can ! Keeping moving seems to help it progress

Yep, and a bit of an off tummy. Look out for your mucus plug too

Diarrhoea is a positive sign it's your body's way of flushing out before the big day. I had it the day before and also a lot of sickness. Fingers crossed!

Same, I thought it was quite common but when I phoned the midwife unit to explain I thought I was in labour (was also having regular contractions) the one who answered the phone told me not to come in if I had norovirus Hmm. It wasn't norovirus, it was labour and I delivered a few hours later thankfully not having listened to being told not to go in.
