Vomiting before labour

Just wanted to ask about experiences about vomiting before labour. Due in 14 days and being sick without eating any weird food or food not super fresh and homemade. Dont have high blood pressure although feet were slightly puffy yesterday, due to mosquito bites i thought. Am thinking about pre-exlampsia but dont have any of the other symptoms.
Wondering whether the bodily clear out could be a sign if labour, which would be great if DH wasnt on a business trip on tuesday!

Also having lots of “tightenings” which i assume are braxton hicks, but are not actually contractions. Also my body seems to be pushing everything out. Baby not engaged but is second child.

Definitely worth getting checked out. As you say, baby no 2 so doesn’t really matter if they’re not engaged yet. I had very loose stools just before my two labours, vomited before the first. Early labour for me is very low contractions (like period pains)

I was vomiting in early labour too- around 36 hours before baby arrived. I would maybe ask DH if he can cancel his trip Grin

Good luck x

Thanks. Feeling much better now after the “clearance” and no other symptoms. Better pack my bag today just in case. Will update if it turns out to have been labour. Hopefully i have some time 🤔

Good luck, I'm another one that started vomiting before labour. I was so bad I phoned midwife and she popped in, told me I was in early stages of labour. She admitted me, not because of labour but because I was so sick. Proper labour followed 12 hours later.
