I’ve always found vaginal birth a horrible, terrifying event. No disrespect meant to those who do not, but to me it terrifies me. I absolutely never wanted one and became quite distressed during my first pregnancy over fears I would die in childbirth. I had an elective cesarean which was fine.

I’m having twins now and have been told a cesarean would be advised anyway, so that’s no problem, but my fear of dying during childbirth is returning. I can’t stop thinking I’m going to give birth naturally by mistake before my cesarean date.

Has anyone experienced this before?
