3rd degree tear and episiotomy with DD1 5 months ago.

Pooping had now become painful. An occasionally get a bit of blood. I had skin tags hanging out of my bum which were not here before labour.

Any at home remedies to easy symptoms?

I’ve got on laxatives and going to try take a warm bath every day to soothe it

My recommendation? Would be to go to your GP. I was in the same situation after giving birth to my eldest. Episiotomy, anal fissure, agony pooing, trying for months to make it right with home remedies. In the end, I got to about 5 or 6 months post partum and could bear it no longer. The embarrassment of baring my bum to a GP was significantly less than the relief at getting proper treatment.

Go and see the GP. I waited 11 years and I should have gone sooner!

After 5 months if things were going to sort themselves out then they would have.
See your GP.

Definitely go to the gp, it's not the nicest experience but they've seen it all. The cream they prescribed me really helped, I'll have to go again once I'm done with having kids to see what they'll do for the leftover skin, yuck! My problem was having to take my 5 year old with me who kept tugging at the curtains ' what are you doing mummy, mummy what are you up to'.

Epsom salts in your warm bath but yes, see your gp. I had horrific piles after having DS and was given a prescription for a cream at my 8 week check ( didn't have to be examined either)

You need a toddler step to put your feet on when you go to the toilet. Definitely see the GP but the right toilet position can really help.
