Hi all FTM here and 38+2 had a scan this afternoon due to baby possibly breech (shes not, shes head down) however shes is still free and has always has been since this is my first according to resources (i know everyone is different) i should be starting to engage around 36 weeks? However i know babies do their own thing is there anyway i can help things move down? I dont fancy being pregnant for the next 4 weeks if i can help it
Thank you 😊

Dd didn’t engage until I was pushing! And I have birth at 39+6 so I really don’t think it matters all that much when they engage tbh. Good luck! Hope the birth is nice and straightforward for you Smile

Bounce on a birthing ball every day. As long as you can manage it for x

Grin. Also apparently getting on your hands and knees can help. My midwife suggested scrubbing the kitchen floor 😂

The they don't all engage, I laboured for 36 hours on the labour ward before DD bothered to engage.
