Hi all, am 40+3 with baby 2 and had a sweep on Sunday at 40+1, was done fine and immediately after the sweep started having period pains.
These pains turned into contractions but irregular, had them all day yesterday and had my bloody show at 1am this morning, so just under 48 hours since the sweep.
Now contractions seem to have fizzled out, is this normal? I was induced with my first so not had a spontaneous labour before.
I'm at home relaxing, sitting on my birth ball, going up and down the stairs, eating and drinking plenty. Is it just a waiting game until they start again? I have another sweep tomorrow morning too.
