How long are gynae stitches?

Post prolapse repair (5 days) and some general tidying up down there

Just been to the loo and noticed a black curled thread, about 2 cm long. Is this likely to be a whole stitch, or just the end where its tied off?

Massively stressing, please help

I was told it's a running stitch, not individual stitches, hope that helps.

Ok, so it would be longer if it was an actual stitch? There was no knot or anything that I could see, just 2cm or so of a curled thread

Probably just part of it, I wouldn't worry too much they are supposed to fall out at some point if they're disolvable ones, which is normally what's used.
