Braxton hicks or start of Labour?

2nd baby but first was induced very quickly so no idea how labour starts as I went from 0-60 during my induction.
Since about 11am I've been getting what I presume were Braxton hicks. Tightening that are uncomfortable but not painful. I'm having them around every 20 minutes. In the last couple of hours I've also had period like pains and back ache.

Is this the start or am I just gonna have to put up with this for a while. I'm not in pain, just uncomfortable. I'm 38+4. I dont want to get my hopes up as I'm totally sick of waiting at this stage.

I’m just out of hospital with painful, regular Braxton Hicks. I had no idea what they were thought it was wind! Been having them for a week.I’m 36 weeks so they were concerned that the regularity of them was early labour. But they died down. They say they’ve no idea whether Braxton Hicks mean labour is coming or not. Just have to wait it out and yes put up with them😞☹️
