Hi everyone , wasn't sure where I should post this, didn't get much from the pregnancy threads but I was wondering those who have had 4 or more babies , what's the birth like?

I'm 38wks pregnant with my 4th and for some reason I'm really nervous this time.

Is it generally quicker, easier? Did you find they cane on time etc?

It was very similar to births two and three. Had to be induced (i dont start labor on my own it seems) about 2-3 hours of dilating and about 15 mins to half an hour of pushing (Im a good finisher!) pain meds worked the same way, recovery was pretty straight forward, was home in 24 hrs and life rolled on. The after pains were worse than first time around, but not much worse than number three, and you know what you are dealing with by then.

We have four boys and to be honest I was really nervous about having number four because it was a six year age gap from number three and it almost felt like my first pregnancy but it was a very quick labour I nearly had him in the car so I will say once you feel it’s starting get going to the hospital and your body has done this before so you will be fine.I also think he just fitted into our family because once you have three already it’s like “what’s one more!” Enjoy this exciting and lovely time and try not to be too nervous

Oh I'm relieved people are finding it's quick, I've had people tell me it's like your first which I really hope it's not true as that ended up with forceps and a 3rd degree tear 🤢

My 3rd my waters broke than nothing, so went it for a sweep and he was here 2hrs later , I'm really hoping for a quick labour, I can cope with high, intense pain but for a short amount of time , I can't do a 12hr labour lol

Thank you for your birth stories, I'm hoping it's quick and straightforward lol fingers crossed 🤞
