I am expecting no.4 in sept and I'm worrying more about this birth than any of the others. Am I odd? I'm now even thinking about chickening out of home birth in favour of planned c-section and a week off in hospital.

Is there anything specific you are worrying about?

the birth? or how you will cope afterwards?

I have 4 children and also worried during my last pregnancy but everyone just assumed I was fine with everything (because I had been there - done that so many times before). I felt quite low and had a good dose of PND afterwards.

Make sure you talk to someone about hpow you are feeling esp. your friends and family and let them know that you need their support.

Congratulations btw

my 4th is 4 months old and I had a horrible PG because I was so worried about everything going wrong.

The birth was pretty awful but only because of my state of mind, it was only harder work because my body wanted to do one thing but my head was trying to stop it all IYSWIM.
I had planned a HB right up until 36 weeks, but he was born in hospital in then end which I'm very glad about.

He's agorgoues little thing and is worth every single bit of worry i went through.

I keep thinking of that bit when the head is about to come out....
