Mucus plug, second baby.

Hi all I'm 40+6 weeks now and I think (not sure) I have lost my mucus plug. It was a tiny amount of (sorry for TMI) snotty discharge slightly browny tinged. This is second Baby I will mention. I've been on and off the toilet nearly all day needing a number two. Do you think this could be the beginning?

Mine came out at 36 weeks and was sure I would go in to labour early. It turns out I was already 6cm dilated but she still needed my waters broken to get going and she arrived at 42 weeks! It could be the beginning but it may not be!

I had a bloody show on the Sunday evening and started getting pains 24 hours later and had baby in my arms 24 hours after that!

My body never felt the need to have a 'clear out' but I know some people see it as a good sign that labour could be near!

Could be! With first child, I had 'toilet troubles' around 10pm (blamed the fajitas!), show at 1am and baby 24 hours later.
