Has anyone had 4 c-sections?

I met up with a friend today who has 3 children, all by c-section, and is now 6 weeks pregnant with number 4 (unplanned).
At her last birth, she was told by the midwife after the op that her scar area was "paper thin" and that she shouldn't have any more children.
She is extremely worried that the scar tissue might burst during the pregnancy or birth.
She is going to see her GP and then a consultant who will have access to her previous birth notes.
In the meantime, I told her I would post on MN to see if anyone had had 4 sections or had heard anything about scars bursting.
Any advice gratefully received.

There was a poster (I think called zippy) who had had 6 c-sections.

She might get some useful advice if she speaks to the people here , although it does sound as though your friend might have individual circumstances which affect her case.

Ladymuck, she was called zipper I think! And she had had SEVEN c-sections. Title of her last birth announcement was something like "unzipped again".
