I’m I leaking?

Wondering if anyone had similar. I’m 34wks tomorrow and for the last 2 weeks after going to the toilet and I wipe, about 30 sec later I have a small trickle of something. It doesn’t matter how long I stay on the toilet for, it always comes out once I’m standing up walking away. I usually wear pads except at night and I notice that my knickers are always wet. I also noticed that it is a very yellowish colour and smells strong. It only just dawned on me that it could be waters and not wee as I just assumed with it being 4th baby my pelvic floor isn’t the strongest! I only saw mw this week but stupidly it didn’t occur to me to ask but I guess I will have to give labour ward a call!

I had an early rupture of water. I had excess fluid though. I was also 34 weeks.
The baby can stay in there as new water is created to top it up but because there is a small whole in the sack you are at risk of infection - which is very dangerous for the baby.

I was put on antibiotics for two weeks and then labour was enduced.

It sounds like you may have a leak. Go get it checked out. Smile

Maybe call your mw and ask her, every pregnancy book I've read says waters are straw coloured but don't have a strong smell. But I suppose it's possible waters leaking.

I would get it checked out. My waters burst everywhere and were quite smelly (sorry tmi). They thought I might have wet myself but it was my waters and I had to be induced in case of infection.

Thanks all. I had a rubbish night with a lot of cramps. I do think it’s wee too but will call labour ward in a minute to see what they say X

How did you get on? Did u manage to call them😀

Mumof3cheeky · 22/04/2018 09:48

Yes I have cindersella I’ve come in. On the monitor now. She said I had a slight temperature and quite a bit of glucose in my wee. Had glucose test at 28 weeks and it was clear. Just getting some paracetamol and see what happens. Dr will check if waters have gone or not in a minute X

Ahh I'm glad the are monitoring u. Does the glucose indicate diabetes?

Mumof3cheeky · 22/04/2018 11:50

My waters have definitely not gone so that’s good. My temperature has come down so they are letting me go home. I have to come back for another glucose test on Wednesday X

I'm glad it's not your waters. Baby just lying on your bladder or leaning on it funny 😍
