Heyy.. so I was just looking around and my wifes 37 weeks now... and ive read a few threads where they said most first time babies come between 37 and 39 weeks. How many weeks were you when you had your first?

Almost 42, I’m still grumpy about it years later 😂

ineedamoreadultieradult · 14/04/2018 21:06

Yogagirl123 · 14/04/2018 21:10

DS1 born one day early, DS2 born 10 days early.

40+4.

I thought the statistic was that most first time babies came after their due date? However, none of it is an exact science unfortunately. Baby comes when they're ready super late if you're my sonAngry

  1. Anywhere between 37 and 42 is normal.
Chuffingchuff · 14/04/2018 21:20

My first was born 12 days early, so 38 weeks.

champagneplanet · 14/04/2018 21:20

41+6.

It really is impossible to say, baby will come when it's ready, or in my case when you're induced Wink

Almost 42 weeks first DC. All my Dcs were overdue bar one who was 3 days early 😊

Jestem · 14/04/2018 21:22

41+1, don't actually know anyone who had their first any earlier than a day or two before due date!

JKirkdale · 14/04/2018 21:24

Ohh wow seems allot are over 40 weeks...stupid statistics lol

NinkyNonk1 · 14/04/2018 21:27

SoyDora · 14/04/2018 21:27

Where have you got your statistics from? I thought the statistics were that most first time mums gave birth after 40 weeks.

mehhh · 14/04/2018 21:28

Mine was 42

Essexgirlupnorth · 14/04/2018 21:28

40+2 went into labour on my due date though

emsyj37 · 14/04/2018 21:29

37 weeks for me

OneForTheRoadThen · 14/04/2018 21:29

36 + 6. Second came at 38 exactly.

GlitterRollerSkate · 14/04/2018 21:29

41 + 1

harrietm87 · 14/04/2018 21:30

40+6 and still pregnant here. Think your stats are wrong - you're more likely to be post 40 weeks with your first.
