39 weeks, why can I not stop crying? ?

I have cried pretty much non stop for 36 hours. I don't even know why?
This is my second child, I had a bad first labour ending in emcs and am booked in for an elcs 1 week today.
I can't use that as a reason for the tears though as I'm not really thinking about it.
I am just sobbing all the time, even eating dinner. My husband keeps telling me to 'snap out of it' as I'll be stressing baby out and am setting myself up for pnd! Like I'm crying out of choice.
Is this normal, just a hormone thing? ? Help Sad I feel so sad

Oh bless you! I wish I could give you a hug! Ignore him, you're allowed to feel this way... I would say this is hormones and it should pass. I felt exactly the same. I had a planned section for both mine and I felt extremely emotional before my second, more so than my first, I don't think my tears had anything to do with worrying about the actual birth. Just everything and nothing.. hormones!! I blubbed loads in the last week. Sorry I don't have any specific advice but wanted to reassure you that I think you're normal! Smile
