VBAC after 2 CS - crazy?

PG with no 3. Have had 1 elective caesarean (hate saying elcs as there was really no choice to it) and 1 emergency caesarean, in 2014 and 2016.

I know guidance is you should only a elcs after 2 sections as risk is slightly increased, but it is only a small increase.

Part of me wants to try another VBAC (the reasons for my csections aren't likely to reoccur other than the normal risks with a VBAC), but I'm not sure why. Part of it is that if I have another c section they will be very clear thy I should have no more children. I am virtually certain I am done at three ( I'm 41 for gods sake) but I just don't like the idea of that avenue being blocked off.

Part from the longer recovery time and immobility, c section allows us to plan and I don't have any post part in problems with peeing etc !

Thoughts ? Anyone done this?

You can have a fourth c section. The increase in the risk is very small compared to the third.

I am planning a vba2c and know of others who have done it after 5 previous sections!

Research and make sure you are happy with the risks but if you look at ACOG and NICE guidelines they don't say 2 previous is a contraindication. Infact NICE are supportive of vbac for up to 4 previous.
