I'm 37+6 today and since yesterday have been feeling less movement and today it's slowed right down, I've also been experiencing lower back pain and slight nausea should I be concerned about lack of movement? Thank you Smile

Any change in movement should be checked, esoecially this late in the pregnancy. I cant say if its start of labour or not but I would highly recommend going to the pregnancy assesment unit for a check over due to reduction in movement.

I went a couple of times with dc2 and they were always happy to hook me uo to a monitor to assess the movemenets.

Please go to your maternity unit STRAIGHT away, your baby does not slow down at all and especially not before labour whatsoever. A reduction in movement can be an indication your baby is in distress and this needs checked ASAP!!!!!

I was told by midwife that babies should not slow down and should continue to move even in labour so definitely call triage and get seen

I do hope all was OK
