When should my friend start taking Arnica tablets?

She has a planned C-Section for breech twins next Thursday (if she doesn't go into Labour before then). Should she start taking the tablets a few days before or on the day? She has bought some higher dose ones.

i know some people who have taken them from a few days before but I just start taking them as soon as I get to my room/ward post surgery.

I'd say at least 24 hours before in face push the boat out 48 hours! Not qualified but just based on personal experience!

A week before is the usual recommendation I believe, although most people obv don't know when that actually is!

I wish I had known about Arnica tablets when I had my C-Section..... or even arnica in general...... or better still, Mumsnet!

My reflexologist told me to start before giving birth, not sure exactly when but it seems that its a good thing to start taking it before labour kicks off...
