Scar tissue after x2 CS

I'm almost certainly having an ELCS in 4 weeks time for our second child following an EMCS for our first child 3 years ago. However a friend has recently had a 2nd CS and has been told not to have a third child due to extensive scar tissue. How common is this? I don't know if we'll even go onto have a third (need ivf) but not having the option at 32 years old seems a bit scary. Are 3 CSs usually OK? Thanks

I've had 2 and am booked in for my third in May. During the debrief from the consultant after my second, she said everything looked good and healthy in there and so I could go for a third if I wanted to. I believe she cut out the scar from my first section and replaced it - so I only have one. So I guess it depends how number 2 goes...

I had a second CS in July and the surgeon said it was fine if we wanted a third (as long as she could deliver again as she'd coincidentally done both so far). Could you ask to see your birth notes to find out of anything has been mentioned?
