Really bad questionable pains

I'm due Thursday and since Saturday night I've been having really had infrequent pains which have made me think I'm in early labour (not the case) I've gotten up this morning with very very bad period pains every 10 mins, very bad backache that's worse than the sciatica I currently have and like fluid needs to come out? Feels like that. None has but I did loose the plug last night and I know it can regenerate so I'm not really counting that.. Could this be it? With my dd I woke up at 4cm I think and after that it was really painful

I had really bad period like pains over the couple of weeks leading up to my labor,
Everyone kept saying I'll know when labor starts, it was my first and I was terrified of missing the signs, but boy did I know the difference when it happened!
My midwife said those pains were the body starting to get ready, so maybe soon!

Contractions and period pain are exactly the same for me.
