Hello, a very close friend and I are due only a couple of weeks apart. Unfortunately we live at the other side of the country to one and another. When her baby arrives I want to send her a gift (not flowers) that will be helpful as i won’t be in a position to travel to see her with my usual lasagna. She already has a toddler so doesn’t need anything for the baby. Can anyone suggest anything? Thanks in advance Smile

Thermos mug for hot drinks, if she's planning on breastfeeding you could get her some hydrogel breast pads (if that's not too weird? I found them to be a total godsend), a selection of chocolate/cheeses/pate/booze - anything on the banned food list?

Food! There are quite a few good delivery services of home made style meals, eg the food stork.

Wee gallery does lovely black and white art cards which babies like looking at.

Booze always good too

Big baggy soft trackie bottoms. M&S do them. Size bigger than pre pregnancy

bodum thermos hot cup.

Big bottle of wine and soft cheese!!!
