Anybody pushed for birth centre with fibroid?
I am 36 weeks and have a 5 cm anterior Subserosal fibroid way out of reach of cervix. I have never been told this would be issue and had planned to use birth centre.
Today I was told that fibroid would be risk for post partum bleeding and I no longer would be safe on birth centre. Very upset that I’m only being told now there is a risk.
I have the choice to push for birth centre but they strongly advise me to go to labour ward (2 floors up). I have a bad experience of Labour ward and it stresses me out thinking of going there.
