I had dd 11 months ago but I can't remember the contraction pains. Or leading up to it.
But right now I'm having back pressure, hip pressure and very strong period like pain..
Kinda scared

It could be, or it could be the latent phase starting up. I'm 38 weeks and have had this on and off for two days but last night it just stopped. I think it could go on for a little while (sorry!)
Hopefully for you it's the real thing, I think if it's Braxton Hicks / false alarm you could get in the bath or if you're sitting move around and if it stops it's a false alarm, if not then it's genuine and just a waiting game. Best of luck!

Possibly, it sounds like the start of a massive upset stomach to me which is what my labour began with. Waters a few hours later and then contractions started a few hours after that.

At least if it's the start and it is an upset stomach, you lower the possibility of pooping during labour.

Maybe just ensure you eat something now just in case.
