The reason i ask is that i will be there for my brother's wedding, which is conveniently 2 weeks before my due date! i actually live in glasgow, so quite a bit away. the thought of going somewhere unfamiliar to give birth is pretty horrifying but i need to think about it as (a hopefully unlikely) possibility. would appreciate any info anyone has. TIA.

Hi,

I used to live in Cirencester and had my baby in Cheltenham (about 30 mins away) as Cirencester only has a cottage hospital, Swindon hospital is also fairly near.
