How long after getting to the hospital did they start the induction process?
Arriving at 8:30am and wondered around what time they'll get things going

They got round to giving me the pessary around 11am although based on people's experience that I know, that was quite quick. I guess it depends if you're one of the first to be induced or one of the last. Most units generally have certain days for induction so you'll be in a queue of other women!

2 days after I was added to the list. I was already dilated so only needed waters breaking.
It depends on the reason. If you are high risk they'll get to you earlier.

Also depends how busy labour ward is. They won't induce you if they have no midwives free.

I arrived at 9;30am and got induced at 5:30pm, with various examinations and advice thrown at me.
Thankfully I gave birth that night with minimal intervention.
(also I had the pessary only )
