Emptying my Lazy-Spa birthing pool

My wife is using a lazy-spa as a birthing pool and wondering if anyone had any tips on emptying it. I assume it's ok to use the onboard pump, but do I need to flush the pump with clean water afterwards? Or does anyone have any tips. Much appreciated,

Is that a good idea? Won’t all the birth gunk get in the jets? Imagine using it after that and switching it on Envy

You've answered my question with more questions! And no 'bits' should get in the pump due to the fact that it has a filter to stop or particles. Plus that picture regards someone using an already used lazy spa. This one is brand new. No bits will get in the pump. If I flush it immediately after we empty it is that ok is my question. I understand you don't have my answer.
