Booked for elective c-section in a few days but am 39 weeks today and have started feeling that dragging period pain today.
This is my second baby, with the first I went a week overdue and had a natural birth but very fast labour (went to bed with no symptoms then woke up quite dilated and things sped up from there, baby arrived a few hours later).
Annoyingly I can't remember much about my first 'symptoms' last time so a bit worried this is it... is it possible/likely? I swore if I thought contractions were starting I'd get to hospital ASAP to reduce risk of giving birth on my bathroom floor but it's nothing very dramatic.. yet.
ELCS is due to previous tear so I'd much prefer it but due to speed of previous labour I'm expecting if it starts before my ELCS then it's natural birth for me...
Any advice?! Going to check through my hospital bag right now...
