Am I in labour - 38weeks

I can't work out whether this is the start of early labour or i'v just ate something thats given me an upset stomach ..

So since past 40 mins I'v started getting a dull ache and pain around my pelvic area, sides and bottom of stomach and back.. and intense braxton hicks which are coming and going. I'v also needed the bathroom tmi (loose bowels)

Baby is moving non stop right now.

This is dc2, my labour with dc1 started at 37+6 and i had him at exactly 38 weeks.

I do remember that the beginning of labour didnt start with the contractions with dc1, I woke up to something similer to this. But now I'm questioning whether this has anything to do with labour or I'v got an upset stomach.

Sorry for the confusing post.

What do you lot think??

Tia

Start timing your braxton hicks perhaps.

See how you go. A bath, paracetamol and try and get some sleep

MummyToBeAgain1 · 09/01/2018 08:27

Eventually managed to sleep after a bath although the pain was still there the same. Woke up this morning with everything I mentioned above :/ ..

Braxton hicks are not occuring in a pattern but I'm going to time them again this morning.

I'm soo excited to see LO .. need to know its on its way eeeeek :-D

It does sound like the start of it, hopefully it kicks in properly soon!

Good luck, exciting time for you. :)

It's been on and off all day. I'm still exactly how I was lastnight with no progression.
