Lose waters then bloody show?

First timer! Waters went at 4.30 this morning, confirmed by midwife as homebirth team like to come early. Was moderate contractions (got to the point where they were difficult to do anything else) every 5 mins up until about an hour ago when they seem to have dropped off. Went to loo and looks like I have blood tinged mucus, not much more waters at the moment. I’m confused - can this be a bloody show after waters go? Or is it just remnants? Currently bouncing on ball in attempt to restart contractions...

Yes I had a bloody show a few hours after my waters went, just keep an eye to make sure the actual waters are clear.

Good luck, how exciting!

Ah that’s reassuring, I was very confused. Waters went before contractions started too. Doing everything in the wrong order.

Same happened to me as well, waters went then contractions started, then stopped for a few hours then started back up again! I was on the birth ball hopping around twiddling my nipples trying to get them back! Hope it all goes well for you.
