Early labour? Anyone able to read my notes?

So I'm 36 weeks plus one. Last week I had a bloody show and from then I've had every labour sign going. I've had diarreahea, nausea, awful back pain, heartburn, awful period type cramps, tightening around my tummy which radiate down my thighs, haven't slept at night from the show (usually sleep like a baby), really emotional and taking panic attacks. Finally let my dh drag me to the assesment unit after a long night to be told there is no contractions showing up. Did manage to get a cervical exam to see what's going on. Which says 1cm dilated and 1cm long. Had my other two ds at 38 weeks but never experienced the amount of discomfort I'm in this early before. Should mention I have gestational diabetes (metformin controlled) and previous strep b so I'm consultant based. Baby weighing in a couple weeks too big also. Anyone any ideas or experiences similar that can ease my mind. Would love to hear any early labour birth story's.
