Pregnant with baby no4 and just wondered what other people's births were like I've had all good births so far and hoping for another!
Were yours quicker than the last and
Where did you have the baby?

No1 was quiet quick once induced as waters broke but had no contractions,

No2 was so quick I walked into the mlu and nearly had DD at reception

No3 was quiet long compared to the other two and a lot more painful but that could have been because I was alone during birth as my DH was working away so I panicked alot more.

I've had 4 home water births :) DH had quite a job to get the other 3 into bed before having his fingers squeezed and welcoming his youngest! Our 3rd was teh only one who went overdue, and all the births have been quick and simple. I think you'll be in for more of the same - enjoy :)

I was hoping for a home birth this time as I don't have anyone to look after other children but DH and I'd feel more relaxed I think well hope anyway lol May I ask where u had your birthing pool from? Did you hire it?

I bought the birth pool from ebay! Its about the only bit of baby kit we don't need to buy for the next one! Part of me is hoping the older kids will get to see the newest arrive this time - depends on timings obviously. How old are your DC? I hate the thought of trying to sit in the car while in labour!

Ooh okay thanks I'll have a look on there Smile 5, 4 and 14 months. I hated that part especially speed bumps they really hurt lol I had to get a taxi with my last one and the taxi man wasn't please That I was in labour in his car lol. How old are your dcs?

I'm not sure if I would like mine to be in the room as they ask so many questions and my eldest is very nosey and will probably look down there and panic that the baby is there Blush I'm hoping to stop bfing before end of pregnancy as I will be in labour with my little one having boob lol

That's what makes the difference - mine are all a little older now, by the time this one arrives they'll be 11, 9, 7 and 6! I suspect they'll be happy to have the TV on and mostly ignore me. Hopefully DH or MW can field most of the questions.
Ow to speed bumps!
