Stomach pain 5 months after section

So 5 months ago had my second section, no problems just what felt like a long recovery. But ever since I've had pain in my lower tummy area, not excruciating but it's certainly hurts. Just things like when I'm cooking tea and leaning against the kitchen counter it hurts, other half came up and cuddled my from behind and it hurt. Any sort of pressure, even tight trousers and it hurts. Anyone had this, is it normal?

I've had exactly this: my baby is nearly 8 and it still hurts occasionally.

I went to the GP about it and he said it was probably wound adhesions - which is a common side affect after abdominal surgery that for some reason they never tell women who are having C-Sections about. It hurts, but it isn't a sign of damage, doesn't mean you can't have another baby or C-section, if needed, and there's not much they can do about it.

Thanks for the reply! That's interesting to know. I didn't think it was anything too worrying as I haven't had any other pains or aches just that. Thank you x

Still better to get it checked if you are worried - I'm not a doctor or nurse or anything like that - but like I say, I have exactly the same thing and it still hurts now and again. My C-section was pretty complex and there were complications - but from what I have heard our experience isn't that uncommon.
