Labour?

I'm not sure if I've started going into early labour. I had a bloody show / mucus plug has come out over the course of the last week and I'm having regular twinges in my tummy (feel like period pains), they come and go and last only 30 seconds or so, my stomach goes rock hard and then they disappear. I'm 38 weeks + 3 days and it's my first baby so I don't really know 🤷‍♀️

Sounds like it could also be Braxton Hicks. Are the twinges regular?

I've had those for about two weeks now but they never seem to turn into anything serious Haven't had a show yet mind you, so perhaps you're luckier than me! I was told it's labour if the tightenings become painful and regular.
