4th baby births?

How were your births with baby no 4??? I'm really worried this time around!

Mine was very easy - just gas and air but it was VERY quick. 1 hour 45 minutes from the first contraction to dd being born. My biggest fear was that dh works over an hour away from home and had she arrived during the working day I would have been stuck. Luckily, like all the others, she arrived in the middle of the night and we were home for lunch!

Thank you @Barabajagal My husband is a HGV driver and it worries me!!! He's often a few hours away 🙈

Do you have local help set up in case he is away? I had promises of emergency help from friends and neighbours just in case and I had a careful chat with my oldest ds so that he wouldn’t be scared if I went into labour on my own. My biggest worry was traumatising the other children if they had to witness the birth.

My third birth had also been fast so I knew I didn’t necessarily have much time!

Quick! First was almost 24 hours. Second 7hrs, third 7hrs, fourth 3.5. That's from the first is-it-isn't-it backachey twinge to delivery.
